Hips and Harmony. Yin and Sound Bath

Come melt into a hip-focused Yin Yoga practice with options for hands-on assists led by Rebecca, while being immersed into a deeper state of relaxation with a special sound bath by Coleen. 

Yin yoga poses are typically held longer to soften tight muscles and target the deep connective tissues of the body. 

Pairing each Yin pose with specifically selected singing bowls helps to move your brain into the deeper brainwave frequencies that will help induce a meditative and peaceful state to allow for clarity of mind and relaxation. 

During this 2hr practice, you will experience a 90-minute hip-focused Yin practice, complete with any props or modifications you need. Additional and optional hands-on enhancements will be offered to show some of the yin postures in the Vedic Thai Yoga style by Rebecca.  While Coleen selects the perfect sounds and tones to wash over you and heal on a deeper level. We then settle into a 30-minute Savasana where the sound bath will peak, and Rebecca will walk around offering optional scalp and head rubs to those who wish to be taken a little bit deeper. 

Some of the many benefits of Yin Yoga and Sound meditation include improved sleep; a deep sense of tranquillity; reduction of stress and anxiety, and relief from depression and emotional pain.
